Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre by Rémy Blanchard was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in April 2016. The price achieved of EUR 2,470.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rémy Blanchard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Man With Lantern And Feather in July 2021 with an auction result of USD 16,562.50 (€ 13,960.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Rémy Blanchard wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.470,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rémy Blanchard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Man With Lantern And Feather im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.562,50 (€ 13.960,30).
