The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,643.81), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Remedios Varo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Armonía (Autorretrato Sugerente) in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 6,186,800.00 (€ 5,508,681.33).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.643,81) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Remedios Varo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Armonía (Autorretrato Sugerente) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.186.800,00 (€ 5.508.681,33).
