This artwork by Reimond Kimpe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2007. In the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Rencontre nocturne sold for EUR 7,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Reimond Kimpe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Playing Tennis in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 59,100.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Reimond Kimpe erzielte im Januar 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit Rencontre nocturne für EUR 7.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reimond Kimpe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Playing Tennis im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 59.100,00.
