Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Support by Redy Rahadian. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,174.49), 15% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Redy Rahadian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Warrior, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 17,800.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Support von Redy Rahadian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.174,49) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Redy Rahadian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Warrior beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 17.800,82) versteigert wurde.
