In February 2008 Christies in London held the auction British Printmaking, which included the work Two screenprints of bull terriers in colours, comprising You Lowson and One Man, his dog and their maisonette, 1996-1998, on wove paper, each signed and numbered in pencil, with full margins, apparently in very good condition, unexamined out of the frames by Ray Richardson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 562.50 (€ 735.73), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ray Richardson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ostenders in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 26,900.00 (€ 37,666.96).

Im Februar 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion British Printmaking durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two screenprints of bull terriers in colours, comprising You Lowson and One Man, his dog and their maisonette, 1996-1998, on wove paper, each signed and numbered in pencil, with full margins, apparently in very good condition, unexamined out of the frames von Ray Richardson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 562,50 (€ 735,73) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ray Richardson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ostenders im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.900,00 (€ 37.666,96).
