In May 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Langres by Raoul Dufy. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,349.95), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000.00 (€ 2,075,171.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Langres von Raoul Dufy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.349,95) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Dufy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Regattes À Trouville im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.505.000,00 (€ 2.075.171,47).
