This artwork by Rammellzee achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2019. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Atomic Futurism sold for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 73,390.28) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rammellzee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Coming of Zee, which sold at auction in October 2021 for USD 252,000.00 (€ 218,144.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rammellzee erzielte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Atomic Futurism für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 73.390,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rammellzee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Coming of Zee beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für USD 252.000,00 (€ 218.144,04) versteigert wurde.
