In the A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection auction, the work Untitled (Study for Towards Kankalitala) sold for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,201.23) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ramkinkar Baij - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Festive Eve, which sold at auction in December 2013 for INR 5,250,000.00 (€ 61,724.36).
