The work Head On A Floor - 1961 by Ralph Rumney was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June last year. It achieved a price of EUR 14,432.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ralph Rumney; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tachiste Painting - Red, White, Blue sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of GBP 14,025.00 (€ 15,983.93).

Die Arbeit Head On A Floor - 1961 von Ralph Rumney kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 14.432,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ralph Rumney; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Tachiste Painting - Red, White, Blue im April diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 14.025,00 (€ 15.983,93).
