Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tachism I by Ralph Rumney was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2014. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,183.83). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ralph Rumney - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tachiste Painting - Red, White, Blue, which sold at auction in April this year for GBP 14,025.00 (€ 15,983.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tachism I von Ralph Rumney kam im Dezember 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.183,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ralph Rumney mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tachiste Painting - Red, White, Blue beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für GBP 14.025,00 (€ 15.983,93) versteigert wurde.
