In October 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Living with Art, which included the work The Mountain Lake by Ralph Albert Blakelock. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,832.88), 48% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralph Albert Blakelock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stilly Night in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 193,287.25).

Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Living with Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Mountain Lake von Ralph Albert Blakelock zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.832,88) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ralph Albert Blakelock erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stilly Night im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 193.287,25).
