Auction result misses estimated price range
In September last year a collector was able to acquire the work In Central Park by Ralph Albert Blakelock for USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,864.77). This price was achieved in the auction American Works of Art at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralph Albert Blakelock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stilly Night in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 193,287.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit In Central Park von Ralph Albert Blakelock für USD 5.737,50 (€ 5.864,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Works of Art bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ralph Albert Blakelock erzielen.
