In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Casa Tomada (House Taken Over) sold for GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,555.25) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rafael Gómezbarros - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Casa Tomada (House Taken Over), which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,317.83).
