Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Casa Tomada by Rafael Gómezbarros was auctioned at Sothebys in London in August 2020. The price achieved of GBP 10,710.00 (€ 12,001.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rafael Gómezbarros - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Casa Tomada (House Taken Over), which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,317.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Casa Tomada von Rafael Gómezbarros kam im August 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.710,00 (€ 12.001,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rafael Gómezbarros mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Casa Tomada (House Taken Over) beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 35.317,83) versteigert wurde.
