Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Casa Tomada (House Taken Over) by Rafael Gómezbarros for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,405.28). This price was achieved in the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Rafael Gómezbarros have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Casa Tomada (House Taken Over) in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,317.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Casa Tomada (House Taken Over) von Rafael Gómezbarros für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.405,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafael Gómezbarros auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Casa Tomada (House Taken Over) im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 35.317,83).
