Auction result well in line with expectations
The work El Soldado (The Soldier) by Rafael Canogar was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2011. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,521.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rafael Canogar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pintura no. 48 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 144,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit El Soldado (The Soldier) von Rafael Canogar kam im September 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.521,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rafael Canogar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pintura no. 48 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 144.000,00.
