In November this year Artcurial held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Aire - 2003 by Rafael Canogar. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,099.00 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rafael Canogar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pintura no. 48 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 144,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aire - 2003 von Rafael Canogar zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.099,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rafael Canogar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pintura no. 48 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 144.000,00.
