Auction result well in line with expectations
The work J’aurai tant aimé caresser un nuage by Rachid Koraïchi was sold in the Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 50,746.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Rachid Koraïchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scrutateur De L’Arrière Passion (Scrutineer Of The Hidden Passion) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 665,000.00 (€ 505,012.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit J’aurai tant aimé caresser un nuage von Rachid Koraïchi wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 50.746,86) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rachid Koraïchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scrutateur De L’Arrière Passion (Scrutineer Of The Hidden Passion) im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 665.000,00 (€ 505.012,15).
