This artwork by Rachid Koraïchi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2021. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections auction, the work From the series "Les Sept Stations Célestes" sold for GBP 21,500.00 (€ 25,243.02) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rachid Koraïchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scrutateur De L’Arrière Passion (Scrutineer Of The Hidden Passion) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 665,000.00 (€ 505,012.15).
