Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2017 Christies in Dubai held the auction Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Gardien de l'arrière saison by Rachid Koraïchi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 40,895.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rachid Koraïchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scrutateur De L’Arrière Passion (Scrutineer Of The Hidden Passion) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 665,000.00 (€ 505,012.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2017 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gardien de l'arrière saison von Rachid Koraïchi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 40.895,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rachid Koraïchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scrutateur De L’Arrière Passion (Scrutineer Of The Hidden Passion) im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 665.000,00 (€ 505.012,15).
