This artwork by Rachid Koraïchi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November last year. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale auction, the work From the series Les Sept Stations Célestes 10 25.40 x 19 x 19 cm sold for GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,558.19) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rachid Koraïchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scrutateur De L’Arrière Passion (Scrutineer Of The Hidden Passion) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 665,000.00 (€ 505,012.15).
