Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Theophoric by Rachel Howard for USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,085.16). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Rachel Howard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Painting in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 132,000.00 (€ 86,916.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Theophoric von Rachel Howard für USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.085,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rachel Howard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Painting im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 132.000,00 (€ 86.916,44).
