In the British and Continental Pictures and Prints auction, the work Raspberries, Gooseberries And Roses, On A Mossy Bank; And Strawberries And Gooseberries, On A Mossy Bank sold for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,050.97) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by R. Caspers; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Apples Plums And Grapes On A Mossy Bank; With Another Similar, Framed As One sold at auction in November 2005 with the realized price of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,234.07).
