Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2006 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures, which included the work Grapes, raspberries, plums, a peach and a gooseberry on a mossy bank; and Plums, peaches, apples, raspberries and grapes in a basket by R. Caspers. The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 571.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by R. Caspers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Apples Plums And Grapes On A Mossy Bank; With Another Similar, Framed As One, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 840.00 (€ 1,234.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grapes, raspberries, plums, a peach and a gooseberry on a mossy bank; and Plums, peaches, apples, raspberries and grapes in a basket von R. Caspers zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 571,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von R. Caspers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Apples Plums And Grapes On A Mossy Bank; With Another Similar, Framed As One beobachtet, die im November 2005 für GBP 840,00 (€ 1.234,07) versteigert wurde.
