Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work The Invincible Eastern Warrior(Executed In 2007) by Qu Guangci. The price achieved of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 18,676.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qu Guangci have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Last Supper in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,027,500.00 (€ 91,614.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Invincible Eastern Warrior(Executed In 2007) von Qu Guangci zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 177.000,00 (€ 18.676,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qu Guangci auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Last Supper im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.027.500,00 (€ 91.614,25).
