In October 2015 Christies in Shanghai held the auction +86 Chinese Contemporary Art, which included the work Stiff Remains by Qiu Xiaofei. The »bidding war« ended at CNY 1,950,000.00 (€ 279,555.33), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Qiu Xiaofei have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 4,240,000.00 (€ 400,997.07) in May 2014 for the work Desolate Wood.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Christies in Shanghai die Auktion +86 Chinese Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stiff Remains von Qiu Xiaofei zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CNY 1.950.000,00 (€ 279.555,33) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Qiu Xiaofei haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.240.000,00 (€ 400.997,07) im Mai 2014 für die Arbeit Desolate Wood beobachtet.
