Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Losing Myself In Summer River by Qiu Xiaofei was sold in the 20th Century and Contemporary Chinese Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 613,600.00 (€ 71,684.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qiu Xiaofei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Desolate Wood in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,240,000.00 (€ 400,997.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Losing Myself In Summer River von Qiu Xiaofei wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion 20th Century and Contemporary Chinese Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 613.600,00 (€ 71.684,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qiu Xiaofei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Desolate Wood im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.240.000,00 (€ 400.997,07).
