Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Qiu Deshu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,248.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Deshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) in October 2014 with an auction result of CNY 2,190,000.00 (€ 285,940.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Qiu Deshu kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.248,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Deshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 2.190.000,00 (€ 285.940,94).
