Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Qiu Deshu was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia auction at Christies in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,173.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Deshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) in October 2014 with an auction result of CNY 2,190,000.00 (€ 285,940.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Qiu Deshu wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.173,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Deshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 2.190.000,00 (€ 285.940,94).
