Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rifts by Qiu Deshu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,194.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Deshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) in October 2014 with an auction result of CNY 2,190,000.00 (€ 285,940.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rifts von Qiu Deshu kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.194,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Deshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fissuring-Landscape (Dawn Light) im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 2.190.000,00 (€ 285.940,94).
