Sold at the upper estimate price
In November 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art, which included the work Landscape No. 15 & No. 16 by Qiu Anxiong. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,741.83), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Qiu Anxiong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2014 the work In The Sky was auctioned for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 16,276.14).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape No. 15 & No. 16 von Qiu Anxiong zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.741,83) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Qiu Anxiong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2014 die Arbeit In The Sky für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 16.276,14) versteigert.
