A top price for Qiu Anxiong
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work In The Sky by Qiu Anxiong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 175,000.00 (€ 16,276.14), 46% above the upper estimate. With this result, In The Sky is even the most expensive work of art by Qiu Anxiong that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Qiu Anxiong
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit In The Sky von Qiu Anxiong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 16.276,14) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist In The Sky sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Qiu Anxiong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
