Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Poems In Running Script by Qian Yong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 118,750.00 (€ 12,530.02), 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qian Yong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,249.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poems In Running Script von Qian Yong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 12.530,02) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Qian Yong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.249,37) versteigert wurde.
