In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Travelling In Lush Mountains by Qian Weiqiao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,854.38), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Weiqiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes After Old Masters in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 550,000.00 (€ 489,410.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Travelling In Lush Mountains von Qian Weiqiao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 48.854,38) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Weiqiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes After Old Masters im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 550.000,00 (€ 489.410,93).
