The work Landscape of the Southern Mountain by Qian Weiqiao was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. It achieved a price of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 10,473.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Weiqiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes After Old Masters in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 550,000.00 (€ 489,410.93).

Die Arbeit Landscape of the Southern Mountain von Qian Weiqiao kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 10.473,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Weiqiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes After Old Masters im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 550.000,00 (€ 489.410,93).
