Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn Mountain by Qian Weiqiao was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,964.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Weiqiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes After Old Masters in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 550,000.00 (€ 489,410.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Autumn Mountain von Qian Weiqiao kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.964,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Weiqiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes After Old Masters im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 550.000,00 (€ 489.410,93).
