This artwork by Qian Weicheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscapes sold for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 42,747.59) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Weicheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscapes in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 16,840,000.00 (€ 1,947,606.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Weicheng erzielte im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscapes für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 42.747,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Weicheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Landscapes im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.840.000,00 (€ 1.947.606,24).
