The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Qian Weicheng was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 4,859.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Weicheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscapes in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 16,840,000.00 (€ 1,947,606.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Qian Weicheng kam im Oktober 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 4.859,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Weicheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Landscapes im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.840.000,00 (€ 1.947.606,24).
