This artwork by Qian Dian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2005. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Seal Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 78,000.00 (€ 8,122.76) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qian Dian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Seal Script in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,593.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Dian erzielte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy für HKD 78.000,00 (€ 8.122,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Dian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal Script im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.593,52).
