Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Seal Script by Qian Dian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 35,280.00 (€ 3,777.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qian Dian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Seal Script in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,593.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Seal Script von Qian Dian kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.280,00 (€ 3.777,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Dian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal Script im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.593,52).
