The work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu by Qian Dian was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,279.39), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qian Dian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Seal Script, which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,593.52).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu von Qian Dian wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.279,39) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Qian Dian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal Script beobachtet, die im September 2016 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.593,52) versteigert wurde.
