Sold at the upper estimate price
The work The Idea of Workers No. 2 by Qi Zhilong was sold in the Asia+ / First Open auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2015. The auction ended at the price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 24,020.11), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Zhilong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Girl Series No.1 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 3,847,500.00 (€ 317,082.64).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit The Idea of Workers No. 2 von Qi Zhilong wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Asia+ / First Open bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 24.020,11) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Zhilong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Girl Series No.1 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.847.500,00 (€ 317.082,64).
