His emergence thoroughly ended our hardships.These hardships were most unfortunate in that we had no source of income and no opportunity to borrow money.If the situation had continued for even a couple more months，I would have had to give up.The path of my life would have been completely different thereafter.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction The Schoeni Family Collection, which included the work Chinese Girl Series No.25(Executed In 2009) by Qi Zhilong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,440.00 (€ 7,532.63). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Zhilong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Girl Series No.1 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 3,847,500.00 (€ 317,082.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion The Schoeni Family Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chinese Girl Series No.25(Executed In 2009) von Qi Zhilong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.440,00 (€ 7.532,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Zhilong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Girl Series No.1 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.847.500,00 (€ 317.082,64).
