The work Listening To The Running Stream by Qi Zhijia was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 61,067.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qi Zhijia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter Landscape, which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 200,000.00 (€ 177,967.61).

Die Arbeit Listening To The Running Stream von Qi Zhijia kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 61.067,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von Qi Zhijia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter Landscape beobachtet, die im September 2016 für USD 200.000,00 (€ 177.967,61) versteigert wurde.
