In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal auction, the work Landscape After Various Masters And Poems In Cursive Script sold for USD 100,000.00 (€ 73,882.53) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qi Zhijia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter Landscape, which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 200,000.00 (€ 177,967.61).
