This artwork by Qi Kun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2015. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Lofty Mountains In The Rain sold for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,454.83) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Kun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 93,006.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qi Kun erzielte im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Lofty Mountains In The Rain für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.454,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Kun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 93.006,49).
