A top price for Qi Kun
This artwork by Qi Kun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscapes sold for HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 93,006.49) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00. This high result makes Landscapes the most expensive artwork by Qi Kun that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Qi Kun erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscapes für HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 93.006,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Landscapes zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Qi Kun, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
