This artwork by Qi Kun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. In the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction, the work Landscape and Calligraphy sold for HKD 201,600.00 (€ 23,327.43) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qi Kun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 93,006.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qi Kun erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape and Calligraphy für HKD 201.600,00 (€ 23.327,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Qi Kun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 93.006,49) versteigert wurde.
