Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscapes by Qi Kun. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,419.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qi Kun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 93,006.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes von Qi Kun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.419,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Qi Kun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 93.006,49) versteigert wurde.
