Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2018 POLY held the auction The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4, which included the work Figures by Qi Kun. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,446.02), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qi Kun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 93,006.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2018 führte POLY die Auktion The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures von Qi Kun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.446,02) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qi Kun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 93.006,49).
